Breast milk can be stored in clean glass or hard plastic bottles with BPA-fitting lids. You can also use bags of milk, which are prepared for freezing breast milk. Do not use disposable bottles, coatings or other plastic bags to store breast milk.
After each pumping
Date of the label on the storage container. Include the name of your child if you give milk to a child care provider.
Shake the jar gently mixed with the cream of milk, which can go up to the rest of the milk. Shaking the milk is not recommended - this can lead to breakage of some of the valuable components of milk.
Refrigerate or chill milk immediately after it is expressed. You can put it in the refrigerator, place them in a cooler or an ice pack, or freeze in small (2 to 4 oz) batch for later feedings.
