Plugged Milk Duct Due To Breastfeeding

A milk duct can become plugged if the baby is not feeding well, if the mother skips feedings (common when the child is weaning), or if she wears a bra. The symptoms of a blocked milk duct may include tenderness, heat and redness in the breast area or lump can be felt near the skin.

Sometimes a small white dot appears at the opening of the channel is the nipple. Gently massage the area and set to remove the plug.
